Remarks

A lot of people are already studying in this college from my locality, I, ve got great reviews from them about this college and many of them are doing really good and are in good positions in their respective fields.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

All the teachers in this department are highly qualified and experienced, for 5 papers in the final year there are 6 teachers( compulsory,) this is the only department in clg which has a min of 6 teachers otherwise every department has min. Of 10 professors. Since this clg is autonomous the course is well designed each n everyone is very helpful in terms of teaching. Even in this era of the pandemic department has maintained the level of teaching, after every lecture professors pass on the content in pdf format. For pratical purposes, hands-on training is best but since we cannot go to can nowadays soo videos for the same are shown in such a simpler way that it becomes easier to understand the concept behind that practical. Once the concept is clear it becomes easier to understand and write. While teaching, I paid attention to every minute detail which was really very helpfull to give exams in MCQ pattern. In FY class strength I nearly 70 but in final yr, it becomes around 40

Placement Experience

4.5

No placements are given to bsc students from clg . Placement from the campus facility is only available for bsc IT or management students. for IT student placement is given with a min. Package of 25000/ . After completion of BSc microbiology, one can go for jobs like lab technicians in pathology labs after some kind of internship but there is no assurity of stability of this job soo it would be a better option to go for MSc rather than looking for a job. Bcoz the greater the degree there will be more stability in our job. Doing MSc in micro or in food technology will automatically open up more doors of great opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

For all the BSc courses fees is around 11000 per yr, but for biotechnology and IT, course fees go upto 80,000+ per yr. On-campus jobs are available for IT students with a min. Package of 25000/-. There are no campus jobs for BSc courses.

Campus Life

5

A fest of back-to-back 4- 5 days called Nazarene takes place in December or January, this is the biggest fest of clg which includes saree n tie day, traditional day, mehfil, n final party night with singing n dancing competitions. Apart from this, every department uses to conduct their own department days with a lot of fun activities and games, amazing dishes, winning prizes ( cash, gifts). Clg has its own gym khanana all this together has made my clg life really amazing n memorable. Clg has a separate building of library with a vast variety of books from Novels to magazines not only by Indian authors but by foreign authors as well, books to prepare for all kind of competitive exams, daily newspapers in 5-6 languages on separate boards, one can get every course-related book in the library. There is a separate reading area in the library for Girls n boys.

Interview Experience

4

I've got admission here on a merit basis there was no Entrance or interview round, for all the undergraduate courses admission is done on a merit basis n there is no other way to get admission in this clg. There are a total of 6 semesters, in the mid of every semester internal exams are taken n at the end of the semester final exam is taken for that semester. Practical n viva for the same is also there in every semester right before theory papers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Positive effects are he/she gets a degree, makes new friends, becomes more diverse, most likely gets a good job after graduating, and helps he/she to become more independent and grow as an individual.
