Remarks
I chose this college because it has a really good reputation for engineering and it also guarantees good placement opportunities. It is also located in a very good city with a metro nearby for commute also. You can get admission in Jiit via your JEE Mains score, your branch will be decided by your preference and in comparison to other applicants' score. It gives great extracurricular activities also which is a major plus point. I used college dunia and asked a few seniors while selecting this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose computer science engineering as it is the most sought-after and valuable field in engineering. It gives me an edge during placement opportunities also. The faculty here is good and every batch has not more than 40 students. All the professors are phd here and have excellent teaching methods. We have 2 sectional tests and end-semester exams for every semester. The difficulty level for all the exams was moderate to tough.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college does offer internship opportunities that too from the 1st semester onwards with many companies involved. Students also get a stipend of about 5-15 thousand depending on the company and work. Some companies take students good in coding, gaming, etc as per their requirements and this helps students to get to work with professionals from different fields.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are great here and students are eligible for placements after the 6th semester onwards and this process goes on till the 8th semester with many companies hiring students from different branches. The highest package is 50-60 lac per annum and the average packages are 7-8 lac per annum. About 70 percent of students are able to get placements from the campus itself. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a valuable MNC
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is simple with around 2 lac per annum amounting to about 8-8.5 lac for the full 4-year course.
Campus Life
The campus life in JIIT Noida is great with many shops and malls nearby to relax and with no commute problem due to the metro at a walking distance from the campus. The annual fest is called Impressions and it will be a day to remember for all the people attending it. The tech events here are great with tech students organizing competitions in coding, gaming, game development, etc, and inviting students from other universities as well which makes it more fun. There are all the sports available that you can think of from swimming, football, cricket, volleyball to table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, etc.
