My College Experience

I have entered with my +2 marks and I have opted for this course as we can finish M Tech in 5 years as an integrated course.

The course structure is very good. We will get a chance to work on various technologies and explore it. All the Languages and Theoretical courses are included in the program and well structured so that every student will get a chance to understand what Software Engineering is and how it works.

Our college provides for Infosys, Polaris, and many others. I don't know much of it as I am not a part of it. I have applied for an internship but unfortunately, the company to which I have applied didn't take any.

Well, this is the best. There is a lot of job opportunities where all top companies offer jobs. There is a pre-placement training also which helps in enhancing our skills and achieving something in our life. Dream offers with 17Lakhs also were offered. Almost 100% of the placement record has been created every year by this University.

There are a lot of workshops and events conducted by various clubs of VIT. There are 2 other main events which are graVIT and Riviera in which graVItas is a technical-related festival and Riviera is a cultural festival which is one of the best among Indian Universities.

The loan can be availed by numerous banks, we can ask all our queries to their representatives who are available there just after finishing the counseling process. Coming to Scholarships, I haven't availed of any but there is some financial assistance scholarship.

Campus Life is very good, almost everything is available inside the campus, there is no need to go out of the campus. The gender ratio is almost 1:1 and coming to diversity, students are from almost all parts of the country and foreign students are also there.

Well, I have found a very good alumni network where everyone is helpful to each other. We all are in touch and whatnot.

Exams will be having internal marks and external marks. Both are having 50 marks each and the total is 10 marks. For internals, there will be 3 quizzes and 2 cat exams or there will be a small project and 1 mid-exam. They will be evaluated for 50 marks overall and external will be conducted for 100 marks and converted to 50 marks. Both the Internal and External marks are combined and grades will be distributed based on that.

Almost all the Faculty present are PG graduates and they are having very good knowledge on the subject. They will help us in classes and in free hours also we can go and meet them in their cabin and get clear with our doubts. They are very good at communication. We will get a chance to work on 2 projects which are the mini project and the Main project where we can learn a lot with their help.
