Entrance Preview

I have taken JMI entrance exam. Score was not given total seat was 40.out of all students giving exam 40 students are selected.I have a liking of international business and this college was providing me opportunity in international business thats why i choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was very good. Total years was 3 years for this course. All the three years were divided into different levels. First years was mainly general management like business studies,marketing,accounts. 2nd year was given basics of international business.international marketing and international finance was taught.

Internships Opportunities

No my college does not provide any internship to my course .It was so because my course structure was as such no internship is required.

Placement Experience

Placement was there in the college. But overall it was not so good. Only few students are placed and that too who have excel in academics. If you ate weak student then forget about placements. At my time l&t,google and various big name come to college for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarship in the college. But itself the fees are so low very few takers are there for these scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good. As it is a university you will get a lot of diversity here. There are lots of cafeteria and canteen in different places.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not too good as it should be. The most problem thing is finding the alumni .The college does not maintain a database for the alumni and not at all preference is given to them.

Exam Structure

Exams was not frequent and it leave us very chilled out. The exam was held only once in a year.the time of exam was around april. It keep running for two months regular. We only have 8 papers and exam was running for around 2 months.

Placments here are good , Reputed Companies here visit campus offering great packages like Asian paints and MRF. They also help student in preparing for the Placements by organizing variouas events and sessions

LBSIM Delhi : An Institution with Value-driven Management with Elite Finance Infrastructure

Likes

Academic and Tech Facilities : Great Academic Rigor.
Faculty & Placement Strength : Faculty has vast industry experience. Corporate Relations are exceptionally strong.

Dislikes

Campus Size : In the heart of the country, a traditional open-air B-school experience is difficult.
Batch Intake : The intake for flagship PGDM course is high which causes high competition among students for summer internships and placements.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 4th trimester onwards. The placement rate is consistently nearby 100%. Prominent recruiters include Delloite, KPMG, Pwc, EY and market firms like Motilal Oswal, Oxane and ICICI Bank. The average domestic package stands comfortably around 12,40,000 and the top 10% of the batch secures close to over 16,00,000. Prominent roles offered include - Management Trainee, Financial Analyst and Consulting roles for finance students. My immediate plans after the degree is to secure a core placement in an Equity Research Role.

The curriculum is regularly updated to align with current industry trends and include case studies, life, project, lectures, workshop and exponential learning. These initiative help student build practical skills and prepare them for corporate roles.

Dislikes

Campus is relatively small compared to many other premier school limiting availability of large opening space and sports facilities
Some administrative processes can be time consuming especially during admissions and fees related formalities.
The academic schedule is quite rigorous , with frequent assignment presentations,quizzes and project making time management challenging.

Placement Experience:

The pavement opportunities at lbsim are good especially for tier 2 b school the institute has a dedicated placement cell that actively works with recruiters and supports student throughout the placement process. Regular training sessions on aptitude resume building group discussions mock interviews and communications skills help students prepare for campus recruitment.

Industry oriented PGDM with good learning and placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

LBSIM offers good placement support with students becoming eligible after the summer internship. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG,EY ,Infosys, Accenture, ICICI Bank and Wipro visit the campus. The average package is around 12 to 13 lakhs per annum with higher offer offers for top performers, placement support, industry, exposure and alumni guidance are strong. I plan to pursue a business analytics role after completing the course.

Faculty , grid and the administration is really good and supportive . There will be adequate amount of exposure to certain non academic activities too .Campus is also decently spacious and overall canteen and class infrastructure is also good .

Placement Experience:

The placements here is decent , good companies visit here , also the college is now been accredited with AACSB , which will help making the foundation stronger . Highest was 24 lakh , and average of the batch is 12.3 lakh . Almost 90% students get placed at decent position , while the placement cell also support each and every person with their utmost guidance .

Why i chose LBSIM for my PGDM

Likes

faculty is knowledgeable and is very well versed with the industy
this college is AACSB accredited. only 30 colleges in India have that
Learning resource center is amazing with a great variety of books

Dislikes

Campus size is small but competitors have a similar campus size
Sports facility is limited to TT, badminton court

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBA curriculum is well structured and covers the core areas of management including marketing, finance, operations, HR, analytics and AI. Courses are industry oriented, have a case based learning approach and institute's focus on practical management skills rather than only theoritical concepts.

campus has limited sports facility and activities.
there is no residential campus vibes as it is very small
college ROI is very poor as the fees is high

seniors are very intreractive and they are very friendly
class environment is very good and good peers

schedule is very tight and could not get time for self
campus is small and fees could be low as per the roi
low return of investement as pe the fees we are paying

The placements have been getting with every year. Last year, the highest package that any student from this college was able to achieve was about 24,00,000Rs. Students are eligible for the placements by the start of fourth or fifth semester

For the summer internship we start getting companies from late August and the interview kees going on till September and then our intership starts in April till July .These happen after our first semester exam

As I have mentioned earlier that the fees for my btech course is very cheap as compare to other colleges that's why I chose this college over other colleges this college gives you a good return on investment as fees is very less and average package is also decent. No I didn't applied for any other colleges nor I didn't receive any rejection. Admission process is very simple and smooth for this college and course. First of all you have to give jee mains exam and to score good rank if your rank lies less than 1.5lakhs you will surely get admission in this college for any btech branch according to your rank. So after getting cutoff rank you will need to fill their seperate registration form for admission as this University doesn't participate in josaa and other counselling it conducts their own counselling so for this you have to fill their admission form in around month of March -April then after declaration of jee mains result they start selecting students according to their cutoff and give them admission.If your name comes then simply you just have to go with your documents and complete their admission process and pay fees then that's it your admission is complete and start your classes....Read More
