Entrance Preview
I got placed through CAP (Common Admission Procedure) which is a procedure in which colleges are allocated to students based on their merits. I scored 80% in PCM & PCB both, with overall 77% (distinction).
Course Curriculum Overview
I chosen Electronics course. It was an overall good experience as we had good faculties at our time. Studying was fun. All courses were well structured along with the practicals. The college had a good laboratories along with well maintained library. All the four years of my tenure it was never felt that we are lagging behind in our studies compared to other colleges.
Internships Opportunities
There was no provision of internship in college. It is most recommended for any individual to develop himself in terms of technical, commercial & managerial skills and can only be achieved if one does the internship.
Placement Experience
The placements were good. Many big & well known companies appeared for interviews, but a humble request to college management that mostly IT companies appeared & to increase the non IT companies. The non IT companies who appeared were not much known in their respective field.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was good and it was very reasonable/feasible. It was not expensive compared to other colleges. Also there was facilities for lower caste candidates to get the subsidy in the school fees. The fees has to be submitted once in a semester/six months.
Exam Structure
I think the exam structure in our college is very good. The seating arrangement was such that none of the candidate can get secret assistance from any other candidate while appearing for the exam. It was like diamond formation, where there will be candidate seating in from or back or on either side. While the other facilities were of good standards.
Faculty
All the four years with total eight semester's we were blessed with good & competent faculties. It was fun while being in the lectures & never felt boring. The teaching technique of all the faculties is good & it was so impressive that anybody can understand the toughest part of the subject.
