Remarks

Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT) The best college in Navi Mumbai(NERUL). The admission is done on the basis of JEE or MHT - CET marks. The more you have marked the more is the chance for getting into CS or IT branch since they get very high packages from super dream companies like CISCO, IDFC, etc. These companies give the package up to 15LPA. There are other branches too but they don't this kind of highest package. But if one is very technically strong one can get up to 10L p.a. also. This college has its stadium popularly known as Dy Patil stadium. Starts came here for Fests like Horizon. Well, known stars are Dua lipa, Katty Perry, Neha Kakkar, Mohit Chauhan, RD Sandhu, etc. Everything is just perfect, you'll get everything that you want like peace, extracurricular, helps in Studies, seniors are the best part of the RAIT. They are totally helpful. I think everything is just balanced. Gardens Cafe is the place where students get relief from stressful lectures.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I got into Instrumentation Engineering because I got fewer marks in MHT-CET & JEE(mains) which was 50/200 in CST and 17/360 in JEE in 2018. Staffs here are helpful in every aspect. Sometimes they don't even take lectures as they get exhausted after continuously taking lectures. And yes you can even bunk like Mass Bunkbut for once it's accepted by teachers but not every time as they have the grades in their hands they will make you do anything like writing assignments 3-4 times more. Most of the teachers are PHD holders. So, don't mess with them, as one of my friends stuck in KTs(internal). The method to get high internal is that be in the sights of every teacher so that they recognise you by your name and boom you will get internal above 20 out of 25. This matters a lot while results so, be in the good books of your teachers. And sometimes they will provide you Sample question bank for TERM TESTS. And the questions will be given from that question bank. So, getting good marks is simple.

Internships Opportunities

5

There is a project every semester. The company starts hiring for Internships from the 6th sem. Currently, I did an internship in RASPBERRY PI off-campus. You can do Internships off campus right after 2nd sem. You'll get to know about the campus as you joined. College is providing free Coursera courses for free for the students. Because it's the Corona pandemic and we're having online lectures. So, learn yourself at home without even coming to college.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the end of 6th sem, the placements activities get starts. You have to keep the criteria of 60% or 6.75 CGPA average at the time of placements because most of the companies need these criteria to be fulfilled by the candidates they are trying to hire. Coding skills are a must for every damn single department as the placement cell will let you know at the time of training. So, start coding before you even join engineering. Just be the master of anyone program either it be C, C++, JAVA, PYTHON, C#, etc. if you're a coder then congrats you will get the highest package of 15L but it totally depends on your CV or resume. Best of luck with that. Cream students(great coders) can get up to 3 job offers after that college doesn't provide them with many jobs offers because there will be other students too for the placements. Every company provides different packages like TCS starting from 3/3.5L (digital) up to 7.7L(ninja) per annum. Totally depends on the company.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is EBC provided for the students with parental income less than 8 LPA. Campus placement is very good. Mostly TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, HCL TECHNOLOGIES, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, etc are coming for the mass recruitment. At present when I'm doing engineering I will get a degree in BE, not B.TECH so, don't know if B.Tech students will get EBC or not just ask them.

Campus Life

5

Students get tons of opportunities for extracurricular activities as there are various committees for helping them out with whatever they want. The library is the place you can get books as well as PCs for any kind of information. There are committees like ISA, IEEE, IETE, SUC, KALARAAG, etc for any kind of activities you like and most of the things I already explained to you earlier.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are decent and improving every year. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Some companies that visit are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and a few core and local companies. Average package is around 3 to 4 LPA and highest package goes up to 6 to 7 LPA depending on company and role. Around 60–70% students get placed, and others go for higher studies or off-campus jobs. College also provides training, aptitude classes, and interview practice to improve skills. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my technical skills and try for a good core or IT job.

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Placements at my college are moderate. Students become eligible from the 7th semester. A few IT and service-based companies visit, offering roles like developer, analyst, and support engineer. Average packages are modest, with limited offers. I plan to upskill, build projects, and pursue better opportunities after graduation.
