Course Curriculum Overview

Course organization of the PhD curriculum is best in the all the ways. students of Structural engineering, Environmental engineering, Transportation Engineering and Geo technical Engineering have choice to choose their subject according to their PhD topic.

Internships Opportunities

Our institute provides the internship and stipend to the research scholar. Here three types of stipend given by MHRD, DST and TEQIP.

Placement Experience

After completion of the PhD almost every student got the job opportunities. Mainly most of students are got job in the different Universities and Colleges. Here minimum package for the PhD students starts from 10 to 12 lakh per year. Some of the student also prefer to go in the research areas.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is central government funded institute, so the fee is as per regulation made by central fee decision board. Fee for the PhD programme is minimum among all other courses. Also with this scholarship supports is available for all the students. For the PhD programme fee is in range of 6000 t0 12000 per semester.

Alumni network and senior students are very strong . In the end of the every year a alumni meet is organised by the institute.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is important part of the any evaluation. Here two exams are conducted in each semester, One is mid semester exams and another is end semester exam. Every semester have 100 credit point. 20 marks achieve by mid semester, 60 by end semester and 20 by teachers assessment.

Faculty

All the faculties of the Civil Engineering department of the having doctorate degree in their discipline. Every year more than 100 journal papers are published by the department. Here every year more than 2 international conference are organized by the departmental faculty.

I completed My bachelor's as well as masters from the same college, I remember I got a package of 24 LPA when I sat for campus placement after BTech but I continued to do master's instead of getting a job two years later when I completed my MTech, WIPRO offered my 50 LPA as a Junior Executive in Bangalore branch, but I still discarded that and decided to do PhD in the same subject, this is my last year and I am hoping it will be completed by this year, then I will apply to be a lecturer at any IIT then only my childhood dream of being a teacher will come true.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually, I get through the counseling process of gate examination at that time i get only this college then after getting this college. I got happy because it comes under top university of India in doctrate. The student faculty Ratio is 15:2 . Well educated and all faculties are above phd degree having worked in research university. It's easy to pass the examination but it difficult to write research papers. You should have good knowledge to get good marks in research

Remarks:

Best thing is that we do get all the information through institute email, college management is very helpful they don't force you in unnecessary paperwork or permission stuff. The only thing that i lack in the institute is that unavailability of single room in the hostel.

Large and greenish campus. Pollution-free environment. A positive vibe is there on the campus, with well-equipped classes and labs in the campus. Overall facilities are good on the campus and little improvement is required in terms of policies.

Remarks:

If I have to rate my college then I will give 9 out of 10. I deducted one star because of issie i.e hostel single seat to students. Otherwise college provide everything to students at their places. I love my college.

Remarks:

Campus is very good, greenery everywhere. Location of institute is near ganga river, just 1 km away from campus. there is health centre facility and BHU hospital. I have one regret, i.e hostel and mess facility. Institute management should pay more attention on infrastructure and better facility as per IITs standard.

I chose MNNIT Allahabad because it is one of the best NIT's in our country.It is an Institue of National importance. I applied for IITs and BITS but unfortunately i was not getting my prefered branch or prefered location therefore the best i can get was MNNIT Allahabad. MNNIT Allahabad is amongst the top 3 NIT's .
