Remarks

I have studied at R J Tibrewal College. The best aspect of the college is its faculty and the bad aspect of the college is its Infrastructure. The college is located in Vastrapur and mainly consists of CA students. The admission process is through merit and mainly Gujarati students are preferred. I preferred this college because of no attendance issues and I was pursuing CA then so it helped me.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are all PhD holders and the curriculum is also structured. The faculty to students ratio is nearly 1:200. The exams were held in a semester pattern consisting of total of 6 semesters. The students were very large as each batch consisted of over 400 students.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 1000 per year

Placement Experience

There are no placements offered by this college but after BCOM you have the opportunity to manage the accounts of some firm or company. You can also do a part-time job or course to enhance your skills. After getting the degree my plan was to join MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for girls are very nominal i.e. 500 rs. For a semester and for boys it is a bit on a higher-end i.e. 1000 rs. Per semester. Scholarships are provided to the lower backward class or SC/ST. Some govt. Aids are also provided to the students for better education and financial support.

Campus Life

The annual fest is named Sanjhikaran and it is conducted mostly in December. The library consists of almost every database and physical book. The classrooms are simple with only benches and tables. The sports include cricket, volleyball, hockey, etc. There is a personal coach of every sport and they have their own ground as well. There is an NCC club run by students and many other cultural events also managed and run by students.

Placement Experience:

4/5 semester students become eligible for campus placements. In placement, they get many companies like all the insurance companies. He gets a placement with an insurance company in which they need around 10 students. Out of all the companies, the highest package he was given was 180000 for the whole year. I want to start a business after college.
