All about NIT Jamshedpur

It is one of the best institutes. The placement scenario is good. To get into this you have to clear JEE Main.I have preferred this college because this was the best college which I can opt for on the basis of my JEE main rank.

The courses offered here are very good, we have seven different courses in BTech with both core and non-core branches. The number of faculty is different in different branches. As I am in CSE,I can say that the number faculty to student ratio is less current, but it will increase in recent years. All the faculty here are highly qualified. Exams are conducted on time and results are also declared quickly.

There are many internship opportunities available both on-campus and off-campus. Companies like Amazon, TCS, UHG, Siemens Technology, Arcesium, Goldman Sachs,buyhatke,etc are some of the companies which visit our college for internships. The roles for which they recruit are software development, System analysts, etc.

One of the best things about the college is its campus placement. Almost all the students get placed. Many big tech companies come for the recruitments like Amazon,GoldmanSacs and many more. The average package is 10 lakhs and the highest is 40 lakhs

The fee structure is optimal. Financial support is also provided to economically backward students. They get a fee waiver on the basis of their family income. There are no tution fees for reserved categories like SC, ST, Physically handicapped.

There are three main annual fest organized in our colleges i.e OJASS(Technical Fest), Culfest(Cultural Fest), and URJA(Sports Fest). There is a central library with a separate book bank for reserved category students.

Hostels are very nice and here we have a total of 11 hostels 9 for boys and 2 for girls. You get a single room from the second year onwards with a balcony. Mess food is very nice and there is also a night canteen.

My interview was very nice. I was interviewed for the frontend developer intern, The interviewer was very friendly, he asked me questions related to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJs.Overall it was a nice experience and I have learned a lot. Many concepts also got cleared regarding javascript.
