Management is strict when it comes to rules for girls. Only two hours of outing of week days and 4 outings for weekend of 6 hours. Post extension they have to write an apology letter and if extended more than 3 times leads to cancellation of outing for 15 days.

VIT offers a lot of opportunity for co- carricular as well as in technical terms. A lot of hackethons happens in which students can participate. In a semester 2 internals along with 3 digital assignments and finally an end term happens. There are different research scholars present in labs who helps you in labs.

Pre placement starts from third year itself. A lot of companies come for internship and gives them PPO afterwards. Placement is one of the best features of VIT.

Technical fest graVITas that takes place in odd sem and Riviera that is the cultural fest takes place in even Sem. Along with these a lot of classroom events and symposiums happen on day to day basis. Different seminars, guest lectures etc takes place regularly.

For first category students fees is feasible while it is different according to branch. Tution fee is less than 2 lpa. Hostel fees is based on the room type weather it's ac or non ac and the number of beds. Mess fee is also based on the selection that is veg, non veg or special.

I have applied for education loan. I applied through the regular education loan process. VIT offers different scholarship programs also for the people in need.

Campus life is little strict for girls compared to boys and the amount of boys is three times or maybe more than girls. Boys hostel is bigger than the main campus. Different clubs and chapters are there with different activities and events. Campus is really beautiful.

I have opted for hostel and mine was four bed ac. For first year only 4 and 6 beds were available for girls. One main thing about VIT is that room is allocated according to room counselling and that is based on rank. Better the rank, more the options.

We have an alumni association. Network is very good and it mostly depends on how you build your connection.

Admission in VIT is through VITEE which happens online where students have to choose slots. After 15 days results are declared and people are called for counselling according to their ranks in examination. Counselling starts in mid may where students are called according to their ranks to choose their branch and campus.

Most of the faculties hold P.HD with good subject knowledge. Labs are equipped with every facility and is open to use for students after taking permission. If you are really into your work then almost every faculty is ready to help. Some of the faculties are real strict but yeah that's necessary also.
