College Management has been unresponsive to students' queries at some events which includes yearly fees hike and cumplulsory internship programme for final year students during COVID 19 pandemic.

The course structure is relevant to the basics of the industry. All important courses are taught in a comprehensive manner and various electives are offered so that we can explore any specific field of the industry in depth. The courses taught helps in placements.

IT companies have dominance in placements followed by finance and management and core. Big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Google, JPMC, Samsung, Texas Instruments, McKinsey etc comes to hire people every year both for internships and placements. Around 90% of people who opt for campus placement get placed. The institute does not take any special step for placement preparation.

We have 3 fests. BOSM(sports fest), Oasia(cultural fest) and Apogee(Technical fest) every year. BOSM and Oasis has footfall of about 1500-2000 while Oasis has a footfall of 4000-5000 each year majorly from college students in North India. Many famous national and international celebraties grace these events.

Fees of my program is 170000 INR per semester. Additional hostel, mess and charges for certain services are taken. Mode of payment is either through demand draft/NetBanking or Credit/debit/UPI. Fees of 50000 was taken as admission charges to book seat. The tuition fees increases upto 7-10% every year. Fee breakdown of additional charges is provided at the end of each semester.

I didn't opt for any education loan. I receive 25% tuition fees waiver on the basis of my CGPA under Merit cum Need scholarship scheme. Students whose parents have income less than 800000 INR PA can apply for this and they get upto 80% of fees waiver depending on their CGPA.

There are a variety of clubs/departments/teams in college which manage fests and all exta curricular activities in campus. Most of these groups are entirely student run. Gender ratio in college is 10:1 and the same reflects in the clubs. Many technical teams do not have girls at all. All students are from different parts of India and speak different languages. The common language is English. Some departments which manage fests are easy to get in if you are a girl.

Yes. It's a completely residential college. Undergraduate students in 1st and 2nd year are alotted shared rooms while others are alotted single room. Rooms are big and spacious. Every corridor has set of bathroom shared by around 8 people.

Seniors are very helpful in getting freshers acquainted with college life. There is a healthy culture of interactions with freshers where any senior can go and talk to a junior and get to know them. Alumni network is strong and they frequently visit campus and interact with students.

I got admission through my BITSAT score. I wanted to do engineering in any of the circuit branch or computer science field. BITS was a good institution to do engineering from. Admission procedure includes filing the preference of the engineering branch I want in all the three campuses of BITS. Based on my score I was alotted my branch and was called on campus.

Courses with number of students more than 100 have two lecturers while the latter have one. The average age of qualification is around 35. Professors were from various backgrounds which include both research and industry. Many professors tell practical usage of the course content via examples from industry.
