MY REVIEWS ABOUT MANGALORE UNIVERSITY

The college atmosphere is very helpful to get mental relaxation to the students.

The course contains total 24 Papers and one Research Project. These papers are related to management, geography, accounting, tourism products etc. Apart from the curriculum activities, students will get some additional training on personality development and communications skill. The debates and seminars will help the students to develop their communication skills.

Almost 90% of the students got job in many multi national companies till 2019. But I don't know what will happen this year because Tourism industry is the most affected industry because of the covid 19 pandemic. Institution really helps the students to get connected with the industries and the 1 month internship program helps the students to get the job soon after the course.

We have conducted many programs in the academic year 2019-20 Freshers day, which was conducted by the seniors inorder to welcome the juniors. World Tourism Day, this is the grand programme organised by the students of MBA TTM in each and every year. Students will invite any business person as the special guest for this function. And students of MBA TTM will conduct many inter-departmental competition for the entire students of the campus. This course offers 2 tours, one is short trip of 2 days and another one is annual tour of 2 weeks. Last year (November 2019) we had been to WAYANAD (Kerala) for the short trip and Uttarakhand, Delhi, Agra for the Annual tour (February 2020). Also Students had conducted an international seminar on "Tourism and sustainable development issues, challenges and best practices". Students had a 3 days workshop on carrier guidance and personality development. We went to one of the nearest beaches and we'd cleaned the beach premises. College will conduct arts day, sports day etc and around 40 off stage competitions regarding the arts day and which will be a 3 days program from morning to the night.

I don't think it is expensive. We can manage the fee structure which isn't much expensive. Entire transaction of the college fee takes place through bank. We have to pay the fee using challan. That is the only proof for the payment of college fee. There is no additional fee for the admission.

There are many scholarship opportunities for the students who studied in Karnataka itself. They'll get around 20000 rs Annually

Mangalore University campus is a good campus. Students will get free WiFi entire the campus. There are many more facilities available inside the campus like gym, indoor stadium etc. Mangalore university Library is one of the largest libraries of Karnataka.

I don't stay in hostel. But the hostel rooms are not bad there are many hostels in our campus. Both the boys hostel and girls hostel are separated. There's no PG offered by the college. The hostel fees is about 10000rs annually

Alumni network of the seniors have been started from this year. In which many students will get job opportunities in their companies

I got the admission for MBA TTM at Mangalore university through entrance exam. They consider 50% of our UG marks and 50% of our entrance examination marks for the admission. The entrance exam will be having objectives questions, case study and an interview. The admission procedures was took place in the month of June 2019 and our classes were started from July 15, 2019 onwards. The reason I selected this course was mainly because tourism is the fastest growing industry so the job opportunities in this industry is high. I choose this institution for the PG is because almost 90% of the students got job in many companies like Thomas Cook, BDC, Amex etc

There are 2 Assistant Professors in our Department and 3 Guest Faculties. All of them are belongs to the age group of 25-35. I can assure that all of our lecturers are working hard to clarify each and every topics. They explain few topics of the subjects with their own life experience.
