Our new principle sir is very nice. He started developing our college's management system.

I’ve got this college through CET exam. Depending upon marks obtained in CET as well 12th % merit list was displayed.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was very good experience. There were multiple extra curriculum activities used to held in college through multiple committees for example magazine committee, student council committee and many more. The course structure contains total of 8 semester.

Internships Opportunities

No, my college doesn't provide any internship. Only placement facilities was there f or placement following company came- infosys, capgemini, neebal, l&t, mahindra and mahindra , aurionpro, bristlecone.

College Events

Zeal - is our man cultural event. which we celebrate for 3 days. in which many stage events and games used to be there, Orion-is a technical fest of it and computer department, Abacus-is also technical event, Face off- it’s a grand inter departmental debate competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was different based on student's cast category for sc/st-it was between 7000-10000/year for obc- it was 35000-45000 per year and for open category it was 80000-100000 per year sc/st student used to get scholarship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only government scholarship used to be there only for sc/st/obc student. None of the local facility given by college.

Campus Life

There was equal ratio of gender, there was not such partiality depending upon gender, workshop was excellent, there was not any political issue or political party involved in college. Economic status of college is very high.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels and mess facilities was not there is only canteen facility was there.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

After every four year alumni meet is there or we can say reunion for alumni. Being part of placement and training committee i got an opportunity to meet alumni, and it was helpful. They discussed how to go through placement activities, and how difficult to get a job off campus.

Exam Structure

Labs and all was very nice. Infrastructure of college is very nice and still it is developing. Exam pattern was semester based.

There were not much fun in learning because teacher were not so good in teaching. Only except few teacher no one was good in teaching. Teacher was not able to deliver proper knowledge about course. Some teacher used to come and only used to read the chapter.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Should I go for VCET ??!!

I stay in goregaon and for me travelling in the reverse direction is easier than travelling to other colleges. The timing of the trains and the crowd is also pretty managable. I did apply for various college. KJ Somaiya and Xaviers are the college were I was accepted but according to my comfort I chose this college. As the Fees is also reasonable and the traveling time is also saved, So for me it was a the comfort zone I'd say. And other college I was rejected due to the score was not compitent as they needed it. It takes admission on the basis of CET JEE so the admission process is almost online they do have their institute round on their website for which the result is also given on the website itself....Read More

Admission process is smooth at the college. The management is very clear with all the instructions. Eligibility exams are MHTCET and JEE mains and also diploma in related field.
