I would like to work under a professor who is an expert in exploiting technology with academics. Here professors like B. Das, Pramod Agarwal, and NP Padhy are most successful in fulfilling research.

The course curriculum is very basic for initials entrees to form fundamental basement to students further constituting the pavement with cutting technologies. Some are advancing with current technology like deregulation of the power system, smart grid infrastructures.

College provides three types of internships based on qualification, experience and current achievements. Basic stipend is 8,000 for B.tech, 16,000 for M.tech and 40,000 for PhD scholar.

Thomso is a college cultural event for having modern and western programs for present youth to explore themselves in music, dancing, fashion, etc. A cognizance is a technical event where national participants can test themselves in terms of various competitions like robotics, presentation, innovation, etc. Apart from the above various other committees Hobbies club for a different kind of training, Himalaya explores club for trekking.

The fee structure is categorized into tuition fee, mess fee, sports fee, library fee, combustive deposit, other fees. Nondining and dining mean the person not residing inside the hostels allotted and others residing inside the hostels. It is quite easy to live here.

SBI and Punjab national banks are providing the banking facilities around the campus with excellent promotions towards the students with less interest.

The gender ratio is not equal enough to compare the men and women on campus. Various clubs are present on the campus to boost the student's performances. Apart from all, coordination among various committees is somewhat questionable and other things are well.

Hostels are allotted based on the availability of vacancies around the college. Preferences are given to the B.tech and then M.tech, MCA, MBA, MSc and at last Ph.D. infrastructure is awesome in equipping with individual indoor sports, library, canteen, and mess. All are equipped with modern equipment.

Biggest in alumni of all the colleges since it is established in 1853. Ever since it celebrated the golden, silver, and platinum jubilee of alumni.

There is four kinds of scores are given under any subject in which: Major exam with 50/60 scaled out of 100 marks exam, Minor/ Midterm exam with 30/20 scaled out of 100 marks exam pattern, Sudden/ surprise test for evaluating the student's grasping and understandings about the course. It is scaled 10 out of 70/50, Practical examination of particular course with a real analysis of any experiment of that course. This given 10 marks scaled out of 50 again, Some courses not having practical labs then tutorials are used to evaluate the students by giving questions to solve. Marks provided here 10 out of 50.

Few faculties are more dedicated to teaching with passion enhancing students' skills. Some are okay with their performance. Other in-between the ratings. But the Civil department is having the highest no of interdisciplinary courses taught and other centers for the practicality of course with testing facilities.
