Entrance Preview
Through AICTE's Quality Improvement Programme Appearing in the IITR Interview is very tough, that too in M & IE is very difficult. Should prepare well before the interview.
Course Curriculum Overview
The elective Instrumentation which I opted for was excellent and the research standards are excellent and at par with the international standards.
Internships Opportunities
Since I joined for the Ph.D. course there is no question of internship, however, students at B.Tech. & M.Tech. are getting internship stipend from the reputed companies.
Placement Experience
Excellent, at the end of the course, every student will be having a couple of jobs on their hand with a package of not less than 5 lakhs.
College Events
Now and then technical and extracurricular events will be conducted at the all India level.
Fees and Financial Aid
For all M.Tech. & Ph.D. students there will be definite stipend from MHRD/AICTE.
Campus Life
Wonderful, Excellent, any body can enjoy the IIT Roorkee campus, extracurricular activities like students amenities is excellent.
Hostel Facilities
Plenty of hostel blocks are there, need not worry about the hostel facility and of course food quality is ok.
Alumni/Alumna
All the seniors are helpful and some of them are in regular contact.
Exam Structure
Exams are chilled and conducted every now and then and continuous improvement in the academics is required.
