The college has heritage of 97 years of its existence with state of art infrastructure. Many personalities in various fields had their education here. Good track record of placement in reputed companies and organizations.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college has updated syllabus which helps the students to cope up with the current system of education. We are yet to begin our industrial tour due to COVID-19 the schedule of visit to industry is getting delayed. The faculties help the students both financially and personally in order to achieve their goals in life.
Placement Experience
Companies like Cognizant, Byju's, ICICI bank, ZIFO ZOHO etcetera. Each companies have different strategy and they nearly offer jobs for 5 to 6 departments. They recruit 6 to 10 candidates. Job profile offered by the company is relevant to the academics. The minimum qualification required for the students to apply for placement should be without any arrears.
College Events
They conduct a cultural festival named as 'ovation' in the mid October and department festival in the mid December. They also conduct sports day in the month of January. Apart from sports and culturals, they engage students in extra curricular activities such as Club and Outreach. They have around 12 such clubs. Community service is a part of the academics because it is mandatory for students to complete both club and outreach activities to get their graduation. Students coming out of campus have confidence to face any unprecedented situation. After completing under graduation students willing to pursue management studies can opt for Loyola College of Business administration as it has been ranked top amongst the other business schools in tamilnadu.
Fees and Financial Aid
They offer scholarship for students who has an extraordinary academic record. They also provide fees concession for students who are below the poverty line.
Campus Life
Our campus is well equipped with library, lab, food court etcetera. They have abundant collection of books on various fields this benefits the students to supplement the knowledge derived in the classrooms. Our lab provides exposure for the students with wide range of chemical compounds, instruments and equipments. Moreover our college canteen serve us with variety of foods belonging to different type of cuisines.
Admission
They have two set of list. Primarily they allot seats based on merit. Secondly they allot seats based on caste and religion in order to uplift people below the poverty line.
