Remarks
My Reason for preferring Gangadhar Meher University because it's one of the popular and best college in my home town Sambalpur. From my childhood I was always hear the name of this college from many peoples like my relatives, nabours, teachers etc. And many of my senior brother & sister are also study in this college. It's located in my home town so that it feels like a familiar environment to me. There is nothing bad aspects of my colleage. Everything is good in this college including hostel facility, teaching facility, variety of courses, campus and environment etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am good in mathematics so that I choose commerce. Cut-off marks for admission in commerce stream is 70%. Evey teacher and teaching method is good. Exams are held on semester basis and it's easy to pass for average students.
Placement Experience
I didn't know about it. I think there is no campus placement. Students are study and after passing the examination they move to other colleges for higher study.
College Events
There is a huge playground, a huge library and available almost every books. College campus is good and it's feels like familiar to me. Between some intervals they organize sports and extracurricular activities which inclue most of the games like running, cricket, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I will pay around Rs 4000 to Rs 5000 per year. When I was in first year college fee is desent but every year increase fee around Rs 100 to Rs 200. But they also give scholarships like Medha bruti, Prarana scholarship etc.
Hostel Facilities
Im not stay in hostel because it's my home town I live in my won house But some of my classmates, they are outsider and they stay in our college hostel. They always tell that hostels facility is good and meal quality is also good.
