The commerce department and other department conducts various seminars , which are practically good enough for students to gain practical knowledges . presentations of idea of the topic of seminar to be given by the students .

Not too many companies comes to the college or may be rarely some company arrives at university for the internship programme , like the companies that arrive to the campus provide per month stipend of 10k to 15k .

There is a tution fees of 4k-5k per year including semester fees and miscellaneous fees i.e. college fest , festivals , freshers , farewell . No extra money to be asked for college fest , festivals , farewell , freshers , etc . Hostel rent was of 8k in the fisrt year and then 6k from the second year inculding charges for festivals , annual functions , farewell , freshers but excluding hosel mess fees , mess fees to be paid monthly . Regular classes of Commerce department . cut offs are getting high for general category every year .

Infrasture is too good comparatively to other universities and colleges in odisha . University conduct fests , farwell , freshers , comptitions , sports competitions etc . one Smart classrooms are provided in each department , computer practical rooms are also available in commerce department.

Meals are just okay , like 3 out of 5 rating . Hostel rent is 8k for the first year and 6k from the second year inculding farewell , freshers , annual functions and fresher . It is five bedded per room , hostel accomodation is of almost 250-300 students

admisision to any of the +3 colleges is through SAMS application . I chose this college because , it was near my hometown and also having a good repuation and was a renowend college accepting high cut offs .

Exam system is of yearly 2 semesters i.e. 6 semesters for whole 3 years course . Faculty of commerce department is quite good . marking schemes are quite tough . on an average , good students score 7 to 7.9 sgpa while bestest students score 8 to 8.9 spga maximum

Libarary area is quite huge nd good enough , cafeteria is available . Hostel in-time is 5:30 p.m. for girls and 9 p.m. for boys , study room nd gym room is available inside the hostel . the locality is not so good to roam at night for girls .
