Remarks

One of the oldest and good Agriculture college, Good study facility, Fees varies for different types of seat, sports facility is also available, Good student teachers interaction, Good support of seniors. Overall good college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Highly educated faculties, good and kind to interact, always try to help students, maximum all professor are Ph.D, Exam are conducted semistar wise -2 semistar per year and total 4yr course.

Placement Experience

No campus placement, but student can avail a vast range of career options after completing the degree whichever he likes.ranging from banking to civil service, and also in the core agriculture field.

It also has different hostels for boys and girls, sports facilities are also available, Different types of functions are celebrated here including cultural, dramatics and all.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are different for different types of seats like general seat, cost sharing seat, icar seat, NRI seat. Scholarship facilities are available for almost all.

Hostel facilities are available very near to the college, overall decent rooms are available, mess offers food only 2 times a day,also has sports facilities.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Final results for admission are based on a written exam conducted by the university, followed by a councelling, where 10th and 12th mark are also taken into consideration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

The campus life after college hours is quite engaging and helps us develop as a person.
Extra curricular activities are into multiple options.

Bad condition of the washrooms ,not cleaned.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes the real projects which help learn more practically. It would had been better to have more site and industrial visits and export sessions to learn better.The exams are not so difficulty to score.

The food provided at the mess can be improved to some extent

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

there are smart class rooms and good faculty for my course and various extracurricular activities are available for students
you can compete many state and national level competitions such as essay writings, creative writings, debate, poster making, etc.
the management of the university is really commendable. various departments and cells have been established to help students in their academic life such as; placement cells, incubation and innovation centers for young entrepreneurs

Dislikes

students who are engaged in political activities often exercise their dominance over other students
sanitation could be better with the mutual efforts of both the students and the college management
though is a placement cell present, i haven't seen many numbers of students getting employed through the university placement cell

sociology as an academic discipline is really sought after in the recent times. it is considered as one of the most sought elective chosen by the upsc aspirants and the discipline in itself gives you a great chance at understanding your society and other societies about how they function amd operate, provides knowledge about various cultures, health, environment, city structure and so much more. you can pursue higher studies or go for NET exams right after post graduation. you can also work with ngos and other nonprofit organizations. each semester is ideally of 6 months and two exams are there. the difficulty level of exams would range from moderate to high

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

Ouat at a glance, from a students eyes.

I did my graduation from this college only and so i was comfortable with the faculties the exam. Pattern so i decided to go for post grad from ouat only. I had opted for the College of Agriculture Bhubaneswar, but due to my rank, I didn't get Bhubaneswar, and I got the College of Agriculture Chiplima. There was another college, the College of Agriculture Bhawani Atana. I didn't choose this because at the time of my admission to Bhawani Atana College, there was no ICAR accreditation, so I chose Chiplima College. I have only opted for OUAT, so I didn't get rejected from any colleges. The admission process in OUAT is first they conduct a entrance examination then, according to rank students select their branches.Their are several branches in OUAT like veterinary,fishery, agriculture, horticulture,forestry, b.tech agriculture, community science etc . Eligibility is in +2 PCM or PCB and career mark of 10th class and 12th class added in total mark. OUAT entrance total mark 200. 25Percent from 10th class and 25Percent from 12th class and 50Percent from entrance.
