Course Curriculum Overview

Course is equivalent to top IIMs I choose PGDM because wanted to switch from IT sector to core Marketing Faculty Ratio 1:4 Most of the faculty are PHD qualified and have lots industry exposure Teaching method includes case study,test, assignment and presentation Term exams were held at every 2.5 months and there was a relative grading system making overall a tough competitive test

Placements are good but it totally depends on person to person based on your caliber Reliance, AO Smith, Accenture, Infosys, ITC, Godrej, MagicBricks,Deloitte, Thoughtworks, ASian Pints Highest package - 22lpa by western Digital Average Pacakage- 11.6lpa College Achieved 100% placement and 16 student got 2 offers

One of the beautiful Campus of India with every faculty required by a student. A library with lacs of books Swimming pool, Tennis Court, Badminton court, Football ground, Basketball court, Gym There are 22 student driven community naming few of them - Ribandar Talks, Samarthan, Prayas, Kshitiz, E cell

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is bit higher as compare to other college in same league Scholarship is available for around 20 students who gets admission via Achiever’s round Jobs for final placements is preety good, getting an average salary of around 11.5lpa

Yes GD- a written test on a recent topic(Effect f Demonetisation) - Interview conducted by 3 panels(mostly asking about my work experience, Six sigma, marketing knowledge) Self preparation was done for all the process

Reasons to not Join this College: By a ex-student

Likes

The surroundings is quite mesmerizing...

Dislikes

The faculties are rude and extremely toxic.
The faculties don't have clear understandings of the syllabus.. the lack of alignment with prescribed syllabus leads to high failure rate with nearly 60% of students failing in each semester
Quite often the semester examination papers include topics that were not covered by the teachers in class. in My class 23/75 students got block(year back). Which must be highest rate of failures across entire India

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is the same across all the 5 colleges It's too outdated to be studied Not relevant for modern-day job markets Students often have to study different materials to crack a job. Youtibe is best solution to clear the concepts

Beyond the Classroom: A Student's Review of Sridora Caculo College

Likes

The faculty members are genuinely approachable, which makes it much easier to seek guidance beyond the standard syllabus
Located in the heart of Mapusa, the college’s central position makes daily commuting very convenient
Campus events like "Caculo’s Got Talent" , "Synergy" "IT Maestro " and "phoenix"offer a great, fun break from the academic routine.

Dislikes

The single-building campus structure can feel a bit restrictive for those expecting a more traditional, expansive campus atmosphere.
Due to the affiliation with Goa University, the curriculum can sometimes feel slightly dated and less aligned with rapidly changing industry trends.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell here is honestly one of the best parts of the experience—they’re super proactive, always keeping us on our toes with mock interviews and workshops that actually feel useful. We get into the placement groove in our final year, and it’s pretty cool to see the results. We’ve seen packages hit as high as ₹7.5 LPA, with an average around ₹3.8 LPA, which is a solid start in this industry. It’s great to see a variety of companies coming in, from tech-focused ones like RightScope, Transerve Technology, Letsapp, MinksPay, and Webnook to major recruiters like Bajaj Allianz, IDBI Bank, and Bharti AXA Life Insurance. A good number of my batchmates have already landed roles through these drives. As for me, I’m planning to take all the practical, hands-on skills I’ve picked up from my internships and extra tech courses and dive straight into the IT sector. Between that and the doors opened by the college’s MoU with the Goa Technology Association (GTA), I feel like I’ve got a real head start in the professional world.

zero % attendance policy and freindly seniors and no ragging and vibrant culture

less campus area and sports timings are limited

Placement Experience:

Placements are good like averages of chemical is 12 lpa and there is good placement percentage ratio like 75 percent and if in case of no placements further study is possible option as bits have connection to many best institues in the world.

Likes

First of all it was government college..
The college has a huge campus and a good infrastructure
College background is also good enoughh.

Dislikes

Surroundings area is not clean enough and not maintained
It is a long distance to cover everyday.
Don't have a proper ground to play around

I had given the CAT examination and scored 95.36 percentile. There is no sectional cutoff for this college. 80 is the cutoff for cat. The details about the application form, fees and application dates can be easily found on the GIM college website. The admission process was very smooth and it was conducted without any confusion. Beyond the Campus Gates of GIM

Steps of admission process were as follows: 1. Minimum 50% aggregate in Bachelor's Degree 2. Clear cutoff of CAT(approx 85%ile)/XAT(approx 80%ile)/GMAT/CMAT respectively (any one is enough) *They also have an Achiever's Round 3. Shortlisting based on overall academic background 4. Written Ability Test (WAT) - Basic opinion on some random topic is asked, fully proctored 5. Online Interview - Checks basic intellect, general awareness, concept clarity 6. Admission Letter ALL THE NECESSARY DETAILS RELATED TO THE ADMISSION PROCESS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF GIM In my opinion, the selection process is rigourous enough, I was asked only relevant questions and tasks to do throughout. I have applied for great lakes, GIM, and many more. Out which I decided to go for GIM because of its ranking and alumni base. The admission criteria of the institute are focused more on the profile rather than the scores. If you have decent scores like more than 80 percentile then you can expect a call.
