Course Curriculum Overview

B. Pharm basically a 4 year graduation programme in Pharmaceutical Technology. It is divided into 8 semesters, each semester has 2 sessional examination. In this course one industrial internship & one hospital internship is mandatory. Apart from that Phamacovigilance training is very important in the field of B. Pharm.

Placements are quite good enough. Eminent phama company like Cipla, Lupin, Zydus, Arystile Healthcare etc. are recruter of the students of this college.

Cultural Fest, Technical Fest, Saraswati Puja, Biswakarma Puja, Noveture, Independence Day, Republic Day, Netaji Jayanti, Rabindra Jayanti, E-Cell programme, Yoga day, World Environment Day, Vivekananda Janma dibas, College foundation day etc. Participants are among the students and eminent professors of renowned collegescollegecolleges all over the globe.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is compiled with tution fee, University fee, Examination fee, Library fee, Student Wellfare Fund, Cultural fee. The fee should pay in semester accordingly. The payment methods are Demand draft, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, Cash. The college does not accept fees breakdown in semester fees.

The college offers Swami Vivekanansa Scholarship and other private scholarship funds. The college also have Tution Fee Weaver Scheme with half or full fee weaving.

Campus Life

Campus life is great. Gender ratio is male:female=3:1. E cell workshop, Phamacy retail shop. Students of all religion takes admission here. No political parties are here. Students from all over India come here to take admission in this college. No racism is allowed here.

Hostel Facilities

I did not take hostel. But the hostel is quite good. 3 or 4 students in a room. The rooms are non-AC. PG is a good option instead of hostel. You will get a PG within Rs1500 per month. The PGs are in the walking distance.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very good. The are very helpful for getting jobs into eminent companies by referral.

Before taking admission I reseached about Pharmacy colleges in West Bengal and I found that this college is the best private college & 2nd in overall in West Bengal. I gave WBJEE & through the online counselling process I booked a slot & took admission in Dr. B C Roy College of Pharmacy and AHS.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.
