MGMCET is one of the most reputed colleges in Navi Mumbai because they are providing engineering degrees in 9 departments and it is located in kamothe area that is near to khandeshwar railway station. The College campus is a little far from the railway station, College is providing free pickup and drop service.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm from Electronics & Telecommunications department and all faculty members of the department are very friendly in nature with all students. There are 60 students in one class. The college is conducting 2 unit tests every semester, the first unit test is after one month from starting of the semester and the second is after one month of the first unit test.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. This year due to Covid none of the students gets placement till now in the EXTC department. But as per the previous record till last year about 30% students got a placement through campus and highest offer was 6.5LPA and average was 2LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
For the General, category fees are approximate 68,000 per year. If you are admitted through CAP round (online merit-based) then you are eligible for a various scholarship that is provided by Maharashtra government, just there is one requirement that is student should have domicile certificate given by Maharashtra government.
Campus Life
The annual festival of the campus is Mangalam and this is organized in March month of every year. This whole fest is organized by the student council. Library of college is filled with books and they also providing digital library and college library have IEEE website access, so if anyone is interested in reading research paper can read quality papers. College also has an IEEE student branch.
