Experience of IIM BG

The Institute IIM Bodh Gaya carries the legacy of brand IIM with it. That's why I chose this institute. My main motto was to learn about research; real and meaningful research is done in IIM's and IIT's. Choosing IIM was one of the finest decision I have ever made. You can join the IIM on the basis of CAT/GRE/GMAT/JRF Scores.

Faculties are great here, they have a great research orientation and PGP students here also work with a professor to get a huge understanding of the research that will help them to use the same learning in future also. Exams occur two times i.e. Mid Term and End Term. The course is really rigorous and requires a lot of effort from the student side.

BNY Mellon, Kotak Mahindra, RBI, OUTLOOK, Ogilvy, Jio Creative Labs provided internship to the PGP students. The student got different roles like Marketing Analyst, Market Research Leader, Business developments associate, Marketing Intern.

Campus placement is there, students get a good salary and got placed in McKenzie, Kotak Mahindra, BNY, Sbi General naming a few, with a good package and salary. Even students get PPO from the companies also.

The fee of PGP is 10.5 lakhs. And there is also a scholarship for students that are based on the meritocracy as well as Govt. Financial aid for people who don't have strong Financial background. PhD scholars get the scholarship of 32,800 per month for First Two years and 50,000 for purchasing laptops and free hostel accommodation is provided.

Life is really great. Every month there is 2 or more festival or occasion we celebrate. Elegante is the name of the annual fest and in the month of February, it is conducted. Intercultural competition occurs that is a lot of fun to watch.

Single occupancy room is provided, one chair one table one almirah, one bed and Mattress. Room is spacious. Quality of meal is good, the menu of the mess is usually handled by the hostel and mess committee so the addition of item or deletion can be done with the agreement of all the students.

For the PhD course, you must be clear in which area you would like to do the research and what topic. As most of the questions that will be asked in PI will be based on the research proposal you have submitted before. The professor will grind you but if you have conceptual clarity you can crack the exams easily.
