This college is one of the best colleges in Biotechnology in West Bengal. The biotechnology department is really very good. One can get admission via the engineering entrance exam. The future prospects of biotechnology are brilliant. I'm a biology lover that's why I choose this course. In our department, the ratio is 34:1 which is very much good for students as well as faculties. All the facilities are highly qualified and they each have their unique teaching method. They use modern technologies to enrich students knowledge. There are 4 internal exams for each subject and half-yearly semester exam. The difficulty level is moderate.

Students become eligible for campus placement from 6th semester onwards. Every year near about 80-90 companies visit college. Approx 1400 offers are made. Students get 3-4 LPA package on average. 100% of the students are placed. I'm also going to get a job.

The caution money is 15,000/- including hostel which is refundable. Yearly price is approx 92,000/yr. Hostel cost is 24000/yr. One can get a scholarship on the basis of merit. Government scholarship schemes are also available.

The annual fest is Riviera and tech fest is prayukti. Other fests like annual cultural meet, auspicious paradigm, rang milanti, extravaganza is also held. The library is very good. There's a huge collection of books and journals. Students run social groups like hitian Inside, the hit times, computer society of India, IEEE.

There are single beds, table, chair, racks in each room. 4-5 students share one room. Washrooms are also in common and private both available. Meal facilities are also available but food quality is not up to that mark. Hostel registrations are done at the time of admission. Rented room or pg are also available within 1 km of college.
