Remarks

I appeared to MHT-CET 2020 which was conducted by the CET CELL, Mumbai. MHT CET is a state-level entrance exam, Out of Maharashtra can also participate in this entrance examination. You can also take admission by using the JEE score. I have taken admission through CAP counselling process which is conducted by CET CELL, Mumbai.

Our Course curriculum is pretty much good and informative. We improved our problem-solving skills and practical problems. Our College has qualified and experienced faculty members. They also have industrial experience. Mostly are qualified with MTECH and PhD degree.

Course Fees: INR 135152 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college is very supportive regarding internships and placements, they focus much on our communication skills. Internships are good in our college. Almost all eligible and deserving students got internships easily.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in our college, around 70% to 80% of students get their placements. Highest domestic package of our college is around 18 lakhs and the average package is around 4 to 4.5 lakhs. On average our college has pretty much good placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty much higher than any other college. Annual fee of our college is 135000 for open category and for OBC category 80000. Our college providing scholarship schemes like EBC.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome in Scoe, the college has an awesome and huge infrastructure, the climate is very healthy and full of life, the college conducts many cultural fests like Sinhgad Karandak, Dandiya Night etc. The college has many cultural clubs like Drama club, singing club etc, Robotics clubs conduct Robo Races.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
