Remarks

Admission made on JEE Mains score. Nearly 94 percentile scoring general category applicants got admission. The good aspect is a railway, facilities provided by railway, confirmed job, and government college. Negative aspects are the limited courses available, narrow work area, fewer companies to switch and grow, no diverse environment in college for other options in career. The forms are available in mid of June for BTech and BSc a month before. Nrti.edu.in is the official so check over it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is awesome, different from any other course ever taught in India in any college. Completely based on transportation, rail system, and ticketing system, fast transportation and aviation. A total of 24 faculties are available for 120 BTech student which is the best ever ratio in any government college. The faculties are from IITs, IIMs, IMU and many foreign universities. Well trained and with good experience. Trimester pattern with time to time quizzes pattern is followed in college.

Awesome placement, even the BSc, BBA graduates have offered 10 lakhs package and an average of 5-6 lakhs in Adani ports, L&T, dedicated freight corridor, metro corporation etc, no BTech placements yet as we are the first batch, Internship each year from college in railways.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are 1,31,000 without mess and hostel and 2,18,000 after mess and hostel facility with 10% hike each and every as expected from a national college but rather a bit cheaper than nit and IITs which are charging more than it. Scholarship and aid are provided to 10% students to the top performers of eligible candidates, with family income less than 3 lakhs.

Campus Life

Campus life is very awesome thanks to NAIR, the training offices of IRS and IES, an awesome campus of around 43 acres. The classroom is modern technically advanced to meet the demands and fulfil the requirements. Each and every sports field, track, amenities available for enjoyment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from the 7th semester. Companies like TCS, infosys, wipro and local IT firm visit, offering roles like developer and analyst. Average package is 4 to 5 LPA and highest is 8 LPA, with 60% placements. I plan to upskill and apply off-campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.

NRTI a college for Transport Enthusiasts.

The National Rail And Transportation Institute is one of its kind and in the entire nation there is no other Institute that offers any similar curriculum. Since very small age I had developed an affection towards Transport Sector and being a Railfan it was quite simple while going for this college. This college offers a very wide variety of subjects and courses which is helpful in every way but at the same time due to vast variety, it becomes tough for the students to cope up with every single subject.
