Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) overview

Firstly, college is properly made and its infrastructure is good. It is affordable for all kinds of students as the fees of college is not more than Rs. 10,000 per annum. Teachers teaching in this college ae re really knowledgable and cooperative with the students. When comes to the clubs and association, various societies are available for students to take part in and perform their skills as their wants. Such societies are NCC, NSS, Moksh, and many more. Exams conducted in college are twice a year on a semester basis. Students have access to libraries, playgrounds, canteens as per their needs. Also, functions and many exciting activities took place on each and every occasion to entertain students and enjoy themselves. Now comes the placement, and it all depends on the course in which the student has enrolled. Rather, the campus offers a wide range of placement opportunities and has connections with many reputed companies i.e. Concentrix, Tata, HP, etc. It offers 4.5 LPA packages.

I choose Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) because my interest was in Accounting, Taxation, Economics, Business functions, Financial Management, etc. and it all provides it. And, it is one of the most professional 3-year course to become a Banker, Financial Consultant, Income Tax Manager, etc. This course not only offers higher-paying jobs but also opens a way to many professional Postgraduation courses in future. Now comes to the teaching method, the teaching methodology of teachers are very impressive, professionalized, effective and efficient. Teachers studying here teaches each and every topic related to the subjects and sometimes add more knowledgable things to increase the IQ level of the students. Questions in which students jas doubt gets cleared immediately to avoid delay. Exams conducted in this faculty are time to time on Semester wise basis. There are six semesters in this whole course and at the end of each semester exams are being conducted and students are marked for it.

Yes, my college offers internships to students. The internship starts from the second year and companies offered to students are sometimes well known and sometimes not well known. And, also according to different profiles and courses, stipends are also different. In some cases, the stipend is not given to students but in some cases, stipends are given. Certificates are also given.

Students studying at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) has many opportunities for placement and employment. Students become eligible for placement in the final year only. But, students are taught about in second year onwards. Companies visited are Concentrix, Airlines, etc. The highest package is 4.5 LPA.

Fees depend upon the course in which the student has enrolled. And, fees do not reach more than Rs. 10,000 per annum. It is most affordable for poor and weaker sections of the societies to manage the cost of study. This means proper education in less money. There is no fee hike or anything on the campus. Now, here comes the scholarship, so scholarship varies from courses to courses and year to year. Students studying in the first and second year get less scholarship and whereas the students studying in the last/final year get more scholarship. It is all according to the courses and year of studying. The college is affordable for each and every kind of students.

Fests conducted in college is very much managed and professionalized. Annual fests are conducted in either March month or February month. Students enjoy it very much at that time. Many famous celebrities and performers perform on the stage to entertain the students. These are all about fests. Books available in the library are on each and every topic. It depends on the taste of the reader. The college has basic amenities like fans, tables, windows, blackboards, and many more. There is a playground available in the college to play games and sports. Sports like cricket are mostly played by the students. There are many clubs run by students themselves such as Fashion Societies, Moksh, NCC, NSS, and many more.

DU offers an entrance test for admission to some colleges. And, those courses include: 1. Bachelor of Management Studies. 2. Bachelor of Business Administration - FIA. 3. B.A. Honours - Business Economics. 4. B. Tech. - (IT & M). 5. B.A. Honours - Humanities and Social Sciences. 6. Bachelors of Elementary Education - (B. El. Ed). 7. B. Sc. in Physical Education, Health Education and Sports. 8. B.A. Honours - MMC. 9. B.A. Honours - Music. Each course have different admission procedure and admission criteria.
