Basically, Loyola College is famous for commerce and vis-comm so this is the main reason to choose this college not only that the college provides students with many opportunities to explore themselves. The admissions are entirely achieved by conducting LOVAT exam then they shortlist students who are selected. Application starts after the announcement of 12th std result.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course since I am much eager in Film Making not only that doing my bachelor's degree in visual communication at Loyola college is the pride and many successful people had completed their degree here. About faculty's nothing much to say they all have a qualification of PhD and moreover in visual communication it is full of practical work. On conducting exams they are very strict and students need to score a minimum of 20 marks for a pass.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible to apply for placement after 4th semester under specific criteria. Many companies like Amazon, Cognizant, TCS, Goldman Sachs, federal bank, Indus Bank, Deloitte, Larsen and turbo, etc making an average package of 3-4LPA and last year there was a student offered by 10LPA. 60-75% of Students get placed under their specific criteria. I had decided to write a civil service examination for my future.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is like for shift 1 students it is 18000/semester. And for shift 2 students it is 67000/semester. Not only in order to help economically weaker, SC/ST students they have a very good system call LSSS. This is a kind of office where they provide financial assistance for those students.
Campus Life
Loyola College has its library with more than lakh books at different categories. Not only that Loyola is famous for the cultural program. Students can play hockey, cricket, football, basketball court, badminton and indoor games like chess, carrom, table tennis courts. The college had arranged a fitness club for students concerning about health and every classroom has a laptop with a projector. The college has its private radio station inside the campus.
