Asansol engineering college not just college it’s kind of second home

The good thing about college is that professors are very helpful. The infrastructure is very modern and advanced. The admission procedure is also very simple. I preferred this college because the percentage of students placed in good companies is very high. And a lot of good companies prefer this college for interviews.

The faculty here are very helpful. They are ready to help anytime. All the faculty here is also highly qualified. They have good knowledge of their respective subjects. And during the exams, they are very helpful.

The college sends the students for internships in the 3rd year of the student. Although students don’t get a stipend in the third year in the final year they get paid internships. first when they join the company for internships the students are only trained but later they can work by themselves.

In the final year, companies start recruiting students. There are many companies recruiting students every year with a minimum package per year to be 5 lacs and a maximum to be 20 lacs. Around 80 percent of students get placed every year. And my plan after getting the degree is I would go for further studies.

The fee structure here is similar to other colleges in the state. It costs around 1lac per year in college. The scholarship is also given to the students who are eligible. Students from all the states are given scholarships.

In college, many technical fests are organized. Each department conduct tech feats during the period of February to May. Here all the books are also available in the library. Money sporting events are also organized for the students throughout the year. And there are many social groups and clubs which are run by the students.

There was a written test for admissions. The test was conducted by the West Bengal government I.e. wbjee. The admission is given on the basis of marks scored by the student. Preparation for this examination can be done when you are in school. The syllabus for the exam is the same as the class 12.
