Entrance Preview

I took many entrance exams such as its-jee,viteee, state college exams. I scored rank 20,000 with was eligible for further college procedure, vit is a reputed college, I opted for this.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it does provide many internships. It provides international internships and national internships. Internships with stipends is very common for many students. CSE students have a very good scope for getting international internships as well as good super dream campus placements.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities in VIT are wonderful and we cannot accept the surprise behind them. Even when the software industry is in recession, VIT was able to provide a good number of placements, maintaining its standard in setting the placement record.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, many good scholarships and loans are available. scholarship for the students whose parents' income is less than a lakh. Students from the poor families of Tamil Nadu but topper in the district will be provided with free education and including free mess and free room facilities.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities and mess food are very hygenic and I hope so no other college in INDIA maintains such standards as VIT does. The rooms are neat and clean.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

All the passed out students will be enrolled in the alumni network and this will be very helpful for the current students to interact with them online. All the required details will be provided by the alumni of the university.

Exam Structure

The exams are well structured where there will be CAT1 and CAT2 (CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT TEST) each for 50 marks which will later be converted to 15 marks each. In addition to these 30 marks, there will be 3 quizzes each for 5 marks and 1 assignment for 5 marks. So totally 50 internals and the term and exam will be for 100 marks which will later be converted to 50 marks.

Admission

VIT takes around 10000 students every year. The procedure is the first online test which is the VITEEE EXAM. The exam had three sections with no negative marking. The examination questions are very easy and require basic knowledge of all the concepts of PCM.

Faculty

The faculty is very good, more motivated towards research and development. VIT publishes many papers each month and in top-notched journals. The faculty should be accessed with utmost interest to get full support from them. The faculties are very knowledgeable.

DRNGPIT is a tough gig to survive!!

Campus placements happens and happens usually from September to December. Every student's are asked to appear for the interview rounds and these opportunities are provided to us in our second last semester. Mostly all are placed before the final semester of theirs.

You know everyone first priority would be going into the iits or nits if you won't get a seat there you search deemed to be colleges like vit amity , I choose vit as my college over iiit sri city which I got seat in it because vit has more exposure than iiit sricity and the main choosing vit was you get good college life with a beautiful campus, the people surrounded in vit are more better and knowledable compared to other colleges like amity, amrita,satyabamma and I aslo thought of going into amity and but I am that I am in vit I think it's better in every corner from that as per placements, college life and even faculty .
