I took Kerala entrance examination and is had a rank of 10821. I opted for this college because this is the best college I could get into with this rank.

Course curriculum is pretty hectic. There a lot of topics that needn't to be discusses and a lot of other topics are left out which is interesting. All together the curriculum is dry and the entire syllabus is solely is based on an exam pattern. No topic that helps us to completely understand and to develop a new electronic have been discussed so far.

Our college does not provide internship for any students. There is no way where we can learn something from practical experience from our college.

Placements are all OK. Mass recruiters like Tcs, Infosys do give job opportunities. No core companies visits the college. Mass recruiters visits the college every year and selects an average of 100 students. Electronics and computer science students have a better chance of getting a job than any other branches .

Our college has both technical and cultural event combined. This even was named "cult a way" by our seniors. This includes both technical events and cultural events. Since there a lot of talented students in our college these events are really entertaining and worthy. Technical events have gained a lot of public access .

College fees structure is 65,000 for a managememt seat and 35,000 for merit seat.this is pretty much feasible. Also the college provides scholarship to the needy. They have to pay only a sum of 1000rs per year. NRI seat is also available ,but the fees for NRI are expensive.

The only scholarship I know of that college provides is the one they give to students of each branches. They select students based on their marks and their economical condition.

Campus life Is always exciting if u have really good friends. Gender ratio is almost the same. There Are 3 student political parties in the college. These parties do play their usual dirty politics in the college. As usual in any govt college in kerala strikes are a usual call. College lacks in all kind of extracurricular activities.

Exam structure is not at all efficient. There should be some other way to analyse a students knowledge. Students who score well in exams may not become a good engineer. As far as I've understood no topper really understands the subjects pretty well . All the need to do is mug up the syllabus.

The admission process is simple.I wrote the entrance examination.and after the results ,I had to fill in the options as to which college I wanted to join. And then they alloted me a seat in this college.

Faculties are not really efficient. Everyone lacks the method of teaching. And none of them really understands the subject. No faculty understands a pressure we students undergoes. All they care about is their prestige. Some of them just reads out whatever it is in the books.
