Remarks

It is a very good college It has the highest placement records Its infrastructure is very good It has a very informative and intellectual faculty The admission process is also very simple. There is a limited number of students in the course so that each and every student in the batch gets full attention.

I choose BTECH in computer science engineering because this course is related to the latest technologies. faculty of computer science engineering is very intelligent and has a kind and friendly nature.

As there is a very good placement record of the college. The faculty also trains the students on how to give placement drives by taking top classes for making them eligible for any placement drive. After 3rd year placement drives started.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure in cgc jhanjeri is very less as compared to other colleges. There is approx 45000 per semester for any course. If you work hard to get good marks there will be scholarships based on the knowledge gained. And over 500 companies came to this college for placement drives.

Campus Life

There are many fests held on the campus like tech fest, management fest, science day, pitaara nights, Tashan nights, and many other celebrations. There is also a sports day celebrated on campus. There are some social clubs for the students for doing some specific social causes.

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies
