Entrance Preview

GGSIPU CET , I was preparing for IIT JEE but was not enough fortunate to get a good rank to confirm a seat in IITs. Therefore I chose this college as a last way for having a technical degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is very much designed in parallel with industrial demand. Subjects in respective semesters are beautifully designed with a good practical experiments related to subject. Fifth and sixth semesters are very much focused on the depth knowledge of the stream.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, my college provide internship. Companies like 3 ST technologies, SAP India, IBM, HCL etc have offered internship to deserving students. The general stipend offered is 5k to 15k.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements scenario of college is good. MNCs and some of the start-ups recruit a good number of students from final year of college. TCS is a mass recruiter for our college. They have offered a package of 3.25 lacs CTC in past. HP have offered a package of 6.2 lacs CTC. Unisys have offered a 0 package of 6.1 lacs CTC and the counting goes on.

College Events

4.5

Events celebrated in my college are cultural festival namely which is organised by cultural society of our college. The event is well organised by a capable team of students. It consist of many fun events and events giving social message. Technical festival is also organised namely Proscenium organised by technic society of college I.e. IEEE- AIT.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible and affordable for financially weaker students too. The fee amount is 35000/- yearly which is very less in comparison to other IPU colleges. The procedure for submission of fee is online and offline too and can be paid through any of these two modes.

Fees and Financial Aid

A maximum scholarship of fee amount is provided to economically weaker students under ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTION SCHEME(EWS). For availing the scholarship students must be belonging economically poor background.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio of college is very poor. 1:6 is ratio of girls with respect to boys. Compared to other college of technical degree or non-technical degree background our college have a very poor gender ratio. Workshops and seminars are organised very frequently in college. Our college have all the respective societies for cultural events, technical events etc.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No, there is no hostel facility in our college. Students manage their food and lodging by themselves. As there is 85% reservation for Delhi domiciled students so a majority of them come from there home. Remaining 15% manage their food and lodging by themselves by staying in PGs and flats nearby college area. The average rental for a student staying outside of college is 2500.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of college is just fine. Pass out students hardly connect to current students. Some of the alumni help students by sharing their industry experience and interview experience.

Exam Structure

Exams are pretty cool to handle as one one paper or one day two paper system is followed in case of minor exams and semester exams are completed by following one day one paper pattern. Labs are equipped with good number of apparatus which provides a great platform to learn practical aspect of subject.

Admission

The admission procedure is very easy and comfortable for everyone. The process is completely online. Online counselling procedure is followed for getting admission. After getting a seat through online counselling candidate need to report the college with confirmation letter and fill the admission form of the college.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of college are average and above average. Some of them have depth knowledge of the subject but some of them are even not up to the mark. Some of them lack in confidence for delivering a good lecture of one hour. They lack in their training for delivering lecture.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. Some subjects might seem a little fast-paced, but if you are consistent enough, you won't face any problems. It is safe to say that the exams and things taught in most the subjects are same to that of its so there is no lacking behind in that aspect.
