Entrance Preview

I got about 90 percentile in the MAT entrance exam. Christ University is among top 10 colleges for management courses in South India. The college has visiting faculty from IIM and also branding experts like Harish Bijoor.

Internships Opportunities

There were a few good companies that took in students for internships like E&Y, KPMG, Tech Mahindra, AC Nielsen etc.. The stipend ranged from INR 6000 to INR 10000 per month.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are good at Christ University. About 360 companies land up in the college every year. The average salary package would be around INR 5 LPA and Christ University has foreign MBA programs which had placements in many companies abroad. A lot of scope for students perceiving Finance as a career since a lot of recruiters look for B.E and MBA in Finance.

College Events

5

There were many fests in Christ University. A few of them are listed. Manthan, Utsav, Cantata, Aviva, Onam fest, Chrizellenz, Altius, Espirit Prayas. Each of the fest were different from the others in terms of the participation, prizes and contests involved. It was a time of my life for me at Christ university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is INR 340000 per annum for Karnataka candidates and INR 430000 per annum for outstation candidates. It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for both years, there may be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of any loan offered. I understand there is a scholarship facility for the meritorious students which is offered by the vice chancellor of the university.

Exam Structure

MBA course at Christ University is divided into 6 trimesters. Each trimester is of 3 months. In each month there would be a continuous internal assessment and a mid term exam in the second month and a trimester exam in the third month. The exam are generally not so easy but marks can be scored with a steady preparation.

Admission

The MAT score will be the qualifying metric to apply at Christ University for MBA course. It will be followed by a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview. Later they ask you for the preference of the course of study as to Finance, HR, Marketing and Operations.

Faculty

4.5

Every faculty in Christ University is PhD holder and has a vast experience in the subject matter. On an average each of the faculty has about 10 years of corporate experience and 15 years of teaching experience. This will help them in relating the topics with the actual word scenarios.
