My Experiance in Christ College

I gained admission to this institute through CAT score. though I got admission into few new IIM's, i personally felt that Christ college provides more carrer choices like training, placements etc.

The course structure is prepared in the view of industry needs. It is designed with best industry people for each specialisation. though the candidate feel lost some where it is definetly used in their career life. If the candidate compares the curriculum with another institute like IIM's, similarity and even materials mostly are aligned.

Partly yes, only few companies comes for internship but college supports students to get internship. General stipend would be in between 10k to 15k. that too this opportunity is given to less number of students. remaining students visit companies of their choice to get internship. overall experience of this getting internship and experience in the company is average.

I can say placements are good enough in this campus. Final placements mostly starts from the month of september itself. MNC's like TCS, HCL, HP, Dailmer, Sonata Software, Accenture, Capco, Cisco, Bosch and many more visit the campus every year couple of times. Minimum salary would be 4 lakhs and maximum is 12 Lakhs.

College provides scholarships based on the merit after every year if the student secures good score in academics they will be given scholarships. It also provide loan facilities every student can avail it.

We can see boys & girls are in the ratio 3:2, this campus has students and faculty coming from all over the india and even from foreign also. So it has good mix of culture and diversity. Christ college hosts many extracurricular activities like indoor & outdoor games, debates will be part of everyday activity and this will definitely improves the students in communication, interpretation, confidence, attitude, presentation etc.

Christ maintain record of alumni network and host events where all alumnus come together and share their opportunities or ideas. As of now i didn't know much of about this and so not helpful to me.

Exams are very frequent in this institute like they have three continuous internal assessment, mid term and final exams for each trimesters. Apart from that it also assess students based on the presentation, activities done etc.

The admission into this college has steps after you apply for particular course, once your application is accepted candidate will be called for interview rounds which has, Group discussion, Micro presentation, Essay writing, Personal Interview. Once the candidate clears all these rounds he/she will be given admission to this institute.

The faculty of the college almost everyone are Ph.d holders and some of them are PG holders and some faculty have dual degrees in masters also. all of them have prior industry experience for atleast 5 years. None can find faculty without any industry experience. All faculty are senior and have i ndepth knowledge of the subjects they are dealing with.
