The college is the number one polytechnic college in Kolkata. The quality of education is very high in this institute. The teachers and the supporting staff's, lab attendants, lecturers professors are very efficient and the process of learning is very interesting. The lab is also very good and the interior structure of this lab is very high. There are so many instruments in the lab and the lab is very well decorated. I choose this course because I have interested in food and food processing technology and this is a very interesting subject also. There is a capacity of 60 students in the stream. The faculty is outstanding and the lab also very well decorated. The lecturers, professors and lab attendants are also very helpful and very supportive. The whole faculty is very qualified and well educated. The teaching style is also very unique and the labs are also very modified. The department of food processing technology there is 6 semesters the duration of the course is 3 years. The question was prepared by the government (West Bengal state council of technical and vocational education and skill development). The question was a little bit harder but the authority prepared for the exams.

The students are eligible for campus placement in the final year from the fifth semester. There are many companies visited in our college like Britannia, Coca-Cola, Amul etc. There is a lot of offers for the students and some students are also get their jobs off-campus. The average package gets the student is 15000 per month. But this salary depends upon the companies and also students capability. Their there are approximately 30% student get a direct chance in campus placement and many students get jobs offline campus also. Many students after taking his diploma degree go for BTech by lateral entry exam, which is conduct by WBJEE.

There is no additional cost for studying in this college. The admission fee likes 1500. And examination fees are 250 rupees. Every year admission fees 850 rupees. There is a concession for TFWvstudents. Many government scholarships are available.

The name of the annual program or annual fest is metamorphosis. This program generally held in the month of June. The whole program is conducted by the APCRP students union. The library is also very big and every student in the college gets a library card and they can take books for their rooms for study purpose and also they can sit inside the library and read any subjective books. In our college, there is a big playground. Students usually play cricket and football on the ground and in cultural sports there are many types of games are available like chess, badminton, cricket, football etc. There is a Facebook group named APCRP, maintained by APCRP students union.
