Remarks

Based on previous year reviews, the college was carried out online. The college does have good infrastructure and space for events/festival organizations. But lack of equipment available for Mechanical and Civil students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course offers many advantageous experiments and research on new innovative ideas for future development in the field of the mechanical department. Enough faculty available for students taking admission, the ratio is 1:50.

Placement Experience

The campus placements are least and not at all bigger companies come for placements. But college does posses you the various opportunities for job, entrepreneurship programs. They introduce ISHRAE which offers many job opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees range from 11836 to 96000 including all the castes and quotas available for the field. The scholarship is available on the basis of castes you possess and the quotas you belong. The student loan is also available.

Campus Life

The college has an annual fest named "nakshatra", it consists very classic and also pure western styles. There are many clubs and social groups including NSS, YIN and many social groups which contribute to many social events.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. A good college for engineering

I had a jee score of 78% and was selected in the third cap round. The admission process was easy. You have to collect the application form at the college. They helped everyone out with the forms and cleared the doubts. The fees varies from course to course obviously. Mine was 97000 for BE (Information Technology) including stationary and excluding transportation. There's reservation criteria for concession in fees. You have to apply for it later when the college starts. Exams are not too tough and prepare you for the sem. Everything else is fine...Read More
