Remarks

The first thing was the name of the Sinhgad College and secondly a well-qualified Teaching Staff of the Computer Engineering Department which was my discipline during BE. The infrastructure like Library, Laboratories and other infrastructure of the college was excellent. The playing ground and various events organized by the college during college fest Sinhgad Karandak were amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of the college is as per the SPPU and UGC guidance which is well organized and completed on time. The faculty members of the Computer Engineering Department of NBNSSOE is the best among any other Sinhgad College Branches and Campus.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

Sinhgad Colleges have the highest number of placements among all the colleges under SPPU. Sinhgad College conducts central placement for all its college students. The minimum package that I have countered was 3.5 L annually.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is almost similar like any college but if we compare to any other Sinhgad Colleges NBNSSOE has fewer fees. The scholarship is provided as per the guidance of the State Government and SPPU like any other college. Job placement is highest in NBNSSOE.

Campus Life

Social life is amazing on the campus due to the atmosphere and other factors. There is a good facility provided by College of the hostel and you can easily find private hostels which range from 8k to 15k per month. There is various stuff that can be done around campus.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

I applied for a large number of colleges before NBNSCOE few of them are : • COEP, Pune • DY Patil, Akurdi • SCOE, Vadgaon And in the first round i got JSPM, Wagholi... which i didn't choose cause i knew i could gett better and i got it.... I couldn't make it to other colleges because the cutoffs of those college for the stream i want was way higher than that i scored in MHT-CET exam... Admission in my college takes place through JEE/MHT-CET... mostly student prefer MHT-CET cause it is a bit easy as compared to JEE... I got admission in this college through MHTCET CAP rounds counselling. Sinhgad Institute is already a well-known and well-reputed institution in Pune. You'll have to attempt the MHTCET exam and get a good score, preferably over 90 percentile to get a good branch or your preferred branch in this college. There are also All India seats allotted through JEE score. I had applied for other reputed colleges of Pune as well, such as VIT, PICT, and PCCOE but my percentile in MHTCET wasn’t enough to pass the cut off for the branch that I wanted in those colleges....Read More
