Remarks
MCC is a recognised college in Bangalore, it offers many courses. My cousins studied here and referred to me as well. The campus is large and very clean. We have fests every week. The teachers are very understanding and friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview
My class strength is 72. The teachers are well qualified and friendly. Teachings methods are very good and understandable. The exams were not too hard nor too easy. Minimum attendance is very compulsory, you cannot give your exams if you have attendance shortage.
Internships Opportunities
I do not know much about this but I'm sure Mount Carmel college provides with the best of opportunities since all my seniors who got graduated from Mount Carmel got internships and jobs from here itself.
Placement Experience
I'm still doing my 2nd years degree, but my seniors got selected through campus placements, they've been offered a nice stipend and now are working. I also have plans of doing the same, I will take advice from my mentor since for better planning.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are a little high but worth it as mcc gives you a very good experience overall. The fees are a little lesser compared to other top colleges like Josephs and Christ etc. I'm not a scholarship student but mcc provides a lot of scholarships.
Campus Life
Our annual fest is Cul-ah usually in the month of November or December. We have fests almost every week. Mount Carmel College is well known for its fests and competition. The campus is very big covered with many trees and plants.
Hostel Facilities
I'm not a hostel student myself, but my best friend lives in the hostel. Many facilities are provided. The food is good, the floor is well maintained. The hostel provides you with fast wifi also. Students have to be back by 9.
Interview Experience
The admissions were based on the cutoff percentage. There was no group discussion or interview or written test. I filled my admission form online, provided all the necessary documents online, paid my fees during the submission.
