Student's Review On DAV College - [DAVC], Chandigarh

The infrastructure of the college is good. Labs were up to the mark. Auditoriums were available where seminars and sometimes workshops were conducted. But, Wi-Fi was not provided for students during our course, I don't have any idea whether it is provided now or not. There was a huge cricket ground and a basketball ground. As I never stayed in the hostel, I don't know about them. There was a medical room and a canteen available, which could be better.

Teachers were efficient, they were well-qualified and experienced. Teaching methods were great. Educational tours were also a part of the curriculum. DAV CHD is one of the top-ranked colleges of PU. Annual fests, sports events, tours, etc. were organised.

Placements provided by the college were fine. Deserving candidates got jobs after the completion of their course. Quite a few companies visited the college and recruited the students. Wipro, Infosys, etc. visited our college after mid-term examinations and recruited the students and the students had to join after their graduation.

The faculty are good and supportive. They help the students who are interested in studies, and never disturb those who are not. They are highly-qualified, and that is why I feel the faculty members are good. You can leave the college at any time.
