BITS Pilani is very well known for its engineers. They have an excellent placement record, comparable to top IITs and more than the new ones. There is no reservation at this place. A very beautiful campus and super intelligent peer group.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum us excellent. Grading is tough, you have to constantly be in touch of syllabus to score decent marks. Enough industrial exposure is provided in the form of Practice School 1 and 2, where you have to intern at a well known organisation
Placement Experience
Excellent placement and job opportunities. Swiggy, big basket, redbus, pepper are all from BITS Pilani. Almost every students is placed in EEE department. Alumni are located in top corporate firms in India. They are helpful. Companies like Amazon, Dell, SanDisk, Qualcomm visit.
College Events
All the events are held up on a large scale. Oasis is one of the largest cultural fests in India. Apogee is a technical festival with a very high participation. Participants are from all over the different parts of India, top engineering colleges, there students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Merit cum Need scholarship - for students having annual income of under 1100000. Merit scholarship- for top one percent of students.
Campus Life
Campus infrastructure is on par with top IITs. College being in remote area, there are no fancy food outlets and malls here. But that is one of the reason of better peer bonding on campus too. Library is huge, and available to students all the time.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are neet and clean. They are old, as the campus itself is old, but still well maintained. Hostels are sufficient to accommodate all the students. Overall a very good atmosphere with girls having one big separate hostel and 4-5 hostels for boys.
