Remarks

My college is the oldest and most renowned college in kolkata. It provides the best facilities in academics for courses in commerce. I heard a lot about the college from my seniors and moreover I liked the infrastructure of the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for B.COM(Hons.) which provided me the best curriculum i could ask for. The teachers are also friendly their and provide complete assistance in education. It is a good career college. The college provided complete updates about changes in syllabus regularly.

Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

St. Xavier's College is the most renowned college for campus placements and this pulled me towards this college. They provide good placement opportunities for a better career ahead.

The campus life is very fascinating and ancient as it was constructed long ago. I completely enjoyed my college life and extra-curricular activities provided by it. The main attractive activity is the dance of our college. We have a great dance team which is actually very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

St teresas college Ernakulam, a good atmosphere and a good social environment

Anyone who have completed 12th grade and has a aggreagate of 60% in cbse board are eligible for this course. After the cbse results are published, the admission form will be available at the college website. The fee for the admission form is below 500. The applicant should download the form and fill the necessary details and submit it online. After submission, if you are selected the management will contact you further. Then you have an interview where the management and the head of the department will ask you certain questions which are very easy to answer.
