Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum in M.Tech in Thermal and fluid engineering in Mechanical engineering dept of IITB is much relevant for the research work in the academics area. there is a one-year course work followed by one year in project work on relevant areas. My project work was related to the synthetic jet cooling of electronic devices.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is not the part of Mtech course. However, I was getting an 8,000PM stipend from IITB. and overall expenses apart from College fee and mess charged were less than 4,000 Rs.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities in Mtech in Thermal and fluid engineering in Mechanical engineering depth of IITB was very good. Approximately 95% of students got job and placement from IITB campus would like to say student joins iitb on this basis.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In the year 208-2010 M.Tech in IITB fee was reasonable and I was easily able to bear all expenses the following figures were there per semester-wise fee: Rs 22,000 approx, mess Fee: Rs 9,000 approx and apart from above there are individual expenses approx. Rs 5,000.
Fees and Financial Aid
I availed the scholarship of Rs. 8,000 pm from college. this stipend subject to performance and GPA system in college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel food and facilities are awesome. like food quality is too good there was always all option in the south and north India food breakfast is too good available all that you want. The best part about the tiffin at 05:30 PM. I always miss that tiffin. Dinner was also too good having both options in the south and north Indian food.

Alumni and alumni network is very strong there is an alumni website to get in touch with all alumni.
Admission
Appeared in GATE-2008, Graduate aptitude test in Engineering. After getting a score in GATE I applied for MTech in IITB. After that, I called for counseling for the M.Tech program. I attended counseling and I opted M.Tech in Thermal and fluid engineering in the Mechanical engineering dept of IITB.
