One of the best B Schools in Delhi.

I think IMI is a very good B School which can be a very good launch platform for anyone who is looking for MBA to start a good corporate career.

I took CAT, where I scored 97.5 percentile. I had many other calls as well but IMI had very good reputation and name in the industry. I was getting the course of my choice and also placement history was good. So I choose this college.

The course curriculum was world class. Its an AICTE affiliated B School and the course curriculum is on par with any top B School in the country. The methodology is teaching using case studies and course curriculum covers everything that a global MBA requires.

I had an excellent summer placement with IPCL. Most of my batchmates had good summer placements and the stipend offered were as per the ongoing norms.

The placement in IMI is good. During our time, Companies like Glaxo, Ranbaxy, Maruti, ICICI, HDFC, Citi Bank, IMRB, Torrent, DRL and many others visited campus and offered packages anywhere between 3.0 lacs to 8.0 lacs.

IMI organises many fest and events entire year. The annual fest is call Kritva. Then it also held many symposiums on subjects of Marketing, Finance, Strategy and HR.

Fee was a bit on higher side but not the costliest. It can be considered as per the trend during that time. As the admission is through CAT so almost anyone can get a education loan for the same. Fees was more than FMS but was less than institutes like IIPM. It was INR 3.5 Lacs for 2 years payable in 4 installments.

The topper or top 2 are eligible for scholarship which can be to the tune of half the tuition fees. One of my friend availed it.

Campus life was very good. It was a residential course so the classes are spread out till evening and then most of the assignments are group work. After that in hostel there usually are regular parties. People bond over games as well.

College has a very good infrastructure and Hostel is also part of it. It has very good mess and food is also good and reasonable.

IMI has a very good Alumni network and well respected in industry. IMI Alumni's are part of companies like Ranbaxy, Dr Reddy's, Sandoz and Maruti. Many Alumni's are settled abroad and IMI has chapters of Alumni meet in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Banglore, Hyderabad and Singapore.

The grading is cumulative and is aggregate of class participation, assignments, quizzes, unit tests and trimester exams. It is a hectic but fun course.
