I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. The eligibilty is 75% in class 12. Cutoffs for my particular course was abouut 170-180 marks....Read More

The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . From 2023 there have been 2 attemtps of the same ,earlier there used to be only one .However one thing to keep in mind is the BITSAT exams occur right alongside the JEE Advanced examinations as well the results .I personally gave my bitsat the day my advanced results were announced...Read More

I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
