Remarks

Infrastructure facilities are not good. There are no facilities of Wi-Fi, labs, and libraries. Various Study centres are available in each region. The classes are held by the teachers in study centres on weekends. There is no canteen and medical facilities at the study centres.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are very supportive in nature. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. No extra curriculum activities done on IGNOU campus. They provide help to the students in solving be their doubts. Since it is online education system you need to study by yourself.

Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

College Events

The infrastructure of our college was very good, and it was an open college. Our college provides classrooms, which make it an excellent college. I learnt so much at this college, and now I am ready to explore more knowledge through any commerce course.

My honest experience at a GGSIPU university

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.

The wonders of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

I chose Chemistry because I like it and this college is best in all colleges of Delhi University for Chemistry. Course consists Organic, inorganic, physical chemistry for main subjects and analytical and cosmetics chemistry for extra subjects. Exams held every 3-4 months period.

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. All about IGNOU

I applied only to this college because of its flexibility ( you can choose your exam centre anywhere in India), affordability and degree recognition, not because it was my dream college. I didn't applied to any other college. The eligibility for admission is based on minimun academic qualification like 10+2 for UG programs. I applied in college in Delhi only, and got selected in IP University as well, but I was looking for a correspondence mode of study so I withdrawl that option and applied for IGNOU. As many of my known were taken degrees from this university they suggested me to go for that.
