Remarks

It is among the oldest and the best-recognised college in its field of education and has given some of the best hoteliers to the state West Bengal. The fees are quite affordable compared to the other colleges in the private sector. Although the fees have steadily increased over the years, still it is very low compared to the private colleges. So I choose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is really top grade. The faculty themselves undergo various ongoing improvement courses and are therefore abreast with all te latest happenings. Since the course is a professional one, most faculties are very well tuned towards developing the skills in the students.

Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

In my batch, almost all were placed before the commencement of the final examinations. Most major hospitality companies such as the Taj Group, The Oberoi, ITC Hotel division etc came. In those days, they used to offer a joining stipend of 7500 rupees.

College Events

Since te college is a rather well-known college in the city of Kolkata and also among the oldest, so there are plenty of events, fetes, food festivals and other cultural festivals that are conducted throughout the year. Also other ocassional festivals held.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SXC is an old pedigree!

Placement Experience:

Companies of all domains like the Asian Paints, EY, Nestle and HDFC Bank among all of them come to SXC. Biggest placements so far has been of 20 lakhs or so when one of the student was placedat such a package in 2024.
