Remarks

1.Government College 2. Affordable fees 3. Unique Course( No other government college in Odisha offers Btech in Textile Engineering) 4. The companies coming over for placements were ample. 5. While being in Bhubaneswar, one can build a better skill set due to the exposure or interning opportunity one gets.

Course Curriculum Overview

Industrial exposure would be ample in textile engineering field. One can not only rely on the faculty for getting through with the syllabus. However, you get enough scope and time to follow your dreams if you're committed enough. Aseemanand Sir will be your go to person if you wish to try out something innovative or scale up your knowledge.

Placement Experience

Companies like TCS, Accenture, Infosys visit the campus every year. Along with data science companies like Mu Sigma and Deloitte. Although a lot many companies do not allow textile engineering students to sit for the placements. Alumni network goes a long way in textile branch.

College Events

Xtasy the socio cultural extravaganza takes place every year with a plethora of events, star nights and workshops. The college will be lit around this time. We have a separate tech festival named Perception which sees participation from all over odisha. We have a lit fest and other club fests as well.

Campus Life

24*7 wifi connection would be there. Ample area for sports activities is there. We have dedicated fields for annual sports meet. Advanced labs and smart rooms are present which are often used for visual aids.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels accomodate all the students. It will be mostly 3 sharing or two sharing. No housing problem shall be faced by the students as we have our on campus Hostel. You can walk a couple of hundred meters to get to the college.

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.
