Remarks

I choose UPES because Campuses: both the campuses of UPES are beautiful. It's got amazing architecture and the scenery around is breathtaking to say the least. The weather of Dehradun in general, makes me fall in love with everything here again and again.

Course Curriculum Overview

The best thing about the university is that they have a tech-focus in all of their disciplines, which really helps you hone your skills, and be a cut above others when you??re out there competing in the job market. Being tech-literate is absolutely essential in today??s market. UPES constantly evolves its curriculum to keep up with the times. So unlike a lot of colleges, you won??t find an outdated curriculum that doesn??t help you

Placement Experience

Another fascinating feature of the university is that it is industry-aligned. This creates an atmosphere where you??re trained by companies and may end up working for. Hence, the curriculum is literally designed to cater to companies?? requirements. Add to that the fact that they have partnerships with many industry leaders like BOSCH, Oracle, TATA, and more, which is a gateway to great internships and placements.

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

Placement Experience:

The college provides a great scope for campus placement this was one of the main reason I took admission here.Form the second last semester the students become eligible to sit for the placement exams.The college have ties with many big companies and MNCS which provides the opportunity for campus placement. The written exam is conducted in the college campus only and the selected students are called for the interview. The main companies that visit Graphic Era Hill University are - 1:TCS 2: Infosys 3: Adobe 4: Google 5: Microsoft The highest package of the college in previous batch was 50 lakhs per annum and the average package was 6 lakhs per annum.Tough the college does not guarantee 100 percent placement but most of the students get campus placement the percentage would be around 80% . My plans after completing my degree is to get a job as a financial assistant and gain some experience and then pursue MBA .

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.

A big no for placements and a big yes for campus life

Entrance test for the programme is conduted based on the criteria that is above 60% admissions are provided. The professors of the university also conducts interviews before admissions in zoom. After all the process once the student clears the exam and interview admission is provided. I was enrolled in the university in the year 2018 as would say that I definetely wasted my 3 precious years and money offcourse. There were no placements also, just for small matters they send you from one person to other and for some university matters you will have to go other campus just for some signatures....Read More
