Remarks

First of all I have opted for this course because I believe Computer Science is healthy exercise for brain and I can develop my logical skills in order to proceed in tech career. And This is one of the best college in India to pursue BSC(Computer Science).The college is autonomous and it has good curriculum. Latest technologies can also be introduced in last year. Also it is located in main area of Pune City which is best as you have everything near you be it railway station or bus stand or shopping mart.

Placement Experience

Companies visited- 1)Deloitte - Technical Analyst 2)SAP Labs - They have integrated program.They were offering M.Tech from BITS Pilani while you are working part time in their company. 3)Infosys 4)Accenture- Same as SAP Labs but they were offering MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur.

College Events

Campus life is good. Computer Science dept. event is (Bits and bytes ) and it is the best thing. There are many competitions during the events you can experience that and Days are also good in FC especially (Traditional day).

Campus Life

Campus is huge and it is very beautiful. Approximately 63 acre. It has well directions so,that it will be very useful for new people.You don't need to ask people for any dept. or something map will help you in this. It has many things like amphitheatre. Sports ground is also huge.You will enjoy the campus.

Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I applied to only 2 colleges as my first preference was fergusson. So I only appied to fergusson and garware college. I got selected there too but as I got selected at fergusson while I was in dilemma whether to pay fees of garware or not , I decided to give fergusson a chance. So for admission process, they took an entrance exam for which we had to pay Rs. 800/- as processng fees of application and exam. So after giving exam the scorelist came and on the basis of that cutoff was decided for various categories. A campus life you must live once in your life - Fergusson College

I had heard a lot about Fergusson College in my school time, somewhere deep down I had always wished to come here and study also i did my bachelors from the same college so it was obvious for me to choose this place . Also FC has amazing faculty members which made me choose it. I gave the entrance test on an online platform for my masters course got second in the list and went straight for the admission process within a week after results were out. I had applied to Modern College as well and got my admission confirmed also but because i got into FC I did not do any further process for modern college. The admission process goes smooth , once the results are out we are called to the college for document verification and regitrations, then fee payment and college starts.
